Luckily, Lady Lux has five hot tips for easy, quick ways to eat cleaner and feel better about the food you’re putting in your body. Eating clean is not about fad dieting or doing something dangerous to purge or starve your body. It’s a gradual, healthy lifestyle change towards trying to put better fuel in your body. With these hot tips, you’ll look great and feel great in your Lady Lux swimwear. Remember you only get one body, so treat it with love.
1. Don’t beat yourself up!
Meal planning, trendy diets, exercising, yoga class, perfect looking models staring into your soul from magazine covers…omg. Take a deep breath beach babe. If you can only get the gym say twice a week because you’re a mommy or you just landed an amazing job it’s okay. Really. Ideally, doctors say we should exercise thirty minutes every day, but that just sounds like a recipe for insanity to us. If you can do that, or want to do that, that’s fab. If not, that’s fab too. Trust us, the world will not stop spinning if you eat fast food once a week. We promise. Grab a girlfriend to help you out, because sometimes eating clean can get overwhelming, and friends are there to support you.You’ll be feeling so sexy in your Lady Lux swimwear in no time.
2.Drink more water.
It’s a vital part of eating clean, and your body is about 60% water, after all. If you’re a normal human being then you probably have a weakness like juice, soda or coffee. That’s completely fine; just try to drink equal parts of whatever your vice is to water. Or try to replace one of those beverages with a glass of water everyday. Another good idea is to make homemade infused water if you’re feeling fresh and fun. You’ll be looking hot in your designer swimwear in no time.
3. Get in the habit of cooking at home.
Set a cooking goal for yourself and hold yourself accountable. Decide on how many times you want to cook at home and stick to it. Cooking at home is the easiest and fastest way to save money and eat cleaner. If you want to, for example, cook dinner at home 4 times a week tell your hubs or your bff and have them hold you to it. In a perfect world, we’d tell you to meal plan every week, but for now let’s just start with trying to cook at home around 4 times a week. 4. Try to eat six small meals a day.
If that’s not possible, eating 3 clean meals a day is better than snacking nonstop. If you really cannot cut snacking, no worries, we have tons of healthy snack ideas on our Pinterest. Also, do not skip breakfast, as eating a big breakfast suppresses hunger craving later in the day. Eating a big, healthy breakfast fuels your mind and body for a productive day. Have a normal lunch and a light dinner, and then get to bed at a reasonable time so you can get a full eight hours of sleep.
5. Shop the perimeter of the grocery store.
Tempting, unhealthy food surrounds us, and it’s completely normal and fine to have your treats, but the best way to avoid them is by shopping the perimeter of the grocery store. Around the perimeter, you’ll find the most natural, fresh foods. Be sure and get lots of colorful fruits and veggies, so you’ll have an aesthetically pleasing plate to look at. Eating clean does not have to be painful and boring…you can do this.
