Megan Fox stuns in Purple, White, and Coral

The words sexy, daring, and feminine are often used to describe actress Megan Fox. While it’s true, her wardrobe ranges from casual sweats and t-shirts, to ultra-glam, to wearing next to nothing- her red carpet style is always spot-on. She manages to pull off a look that’s always super sexy, without becoming classless. Everything from her hair, to her makeup, to her shoes is styled to perfection. We pulled some of our favorite red carpet looks of hers, which also inspires us to switch up our designer swimwear look to mimic Megan’s super sexy red carpet looks.

 

 

This purple dress that Megan wore to a red carpet event is easily one of our favorites. Not only does the color look phenomenal on her perfectly tanned skin, but the styling of her hair and makeup is spot on as well. She exudes a Greek-goddess vibe with her perfectly tousled curls. The look is easily achievable with the Unforgettable bikini from Lady Lux. Add in a great tan and give yourself some sexy curls and you’ll be ready to hit the beach a la Megan Fox.

 

 

Megan pulled off yet another Greek-goddess look with this all-white dress. The dress is so simple and basic- similar to the Truly, Madly, Deeply bikini from Lady Lux. It leaves plenty of flexibility when it comes to styling your hair and makeup. To get Megan’s sleek goddess look, pull the hair back away from your beautiful face (making sure your makeup is spot-on). This look works great for a day at the pool because it keeps your hair off your face, keeping both your makeup and hair looking great.

 

 

For an ultra-feminine look- go for an ultra-feminine color such as pink or coral. The Pretty Young Thing bikini in coral looks so similar to this coral dress of Megan’s, and the color is stunning. The added gold detail to the luxury swimwear gives it even more femininity, similar to how the draping in Megan’s dress adds femininity and sex appeal.

 

To complete your Megan Fox look, make sure you hit the gym. The starlet works out with a personal trainer at least three times a week. You don’t need a personal trainer, however, to mimic Megan’s workout. She spends 30 minutes doing cardio, and finishes out with 30-45 minutes of more intense exercise such as Pilates or cycling.

Reese Witherspoon- Style Sweetheart

Reese Witherspoon has long been called “America’s Sweetheart”, with a long list of wholesome and girly-girl Hollywood leads in movies such as “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Walk The Line” and “Legally Blonde”. Lately however, Witherspoon has gone from being America’s sweetheart- to hitting the tabloids hard with headlines of her “disorderly conduct” arrest. The arrest went down in Atlanta (where Witherspoon is shooting an upcoming movie) early morning last Friday. While it’s true her mugshot may not have been the most glamorous look for her, it’s undeniable that Reese has always been looked at as a fashion icon. Her look is always effortless, but classic (similar to Kate Middleton, as well as many other royals). We decided to pull some of our favorite looks of hers and show you how to get inspired when styling your designer swimwear.

Florals is one of the biggest trends for this season and Reese seems to favor them. Often she’s caught in a floral pattern- whether it be on a dress or a blouse. We particularly favored this floral because the pattern seemed a bit updated from typical floral patterns. The almost watercolor-effect is similar to that of the Floral Fantasy bandeau from Lady Lux. We also loved how Reese paired it with some pops of fuchsia in both her shoes and her bag. It’s definitely an easy look to recreate and super fresh for spring.

Tribal patterns also seem to be making the rounds this spring in stores across the country. We love this tribal (almost boho) dress of Reese’s. We especially love the way she accessorized with the gold-heeled sandals, straw fedora, denim jacket, and aviators. When it comes to your luxury swimwear, this look is definitely easy to copy. Pair a tribal-patterned suit such as Crazy For You or Call On Me with a denim jacket (or a denim shirt) as a coverup. Add some gold jewelry and shoes, and of course your aviators! Just like Reese!

There’s a reason every style resource you read stresses the importance of a LBD (Little Black Dress) in every wardrobe. Not only is black a universally classic color, it’s also extremely flattering on almost every skin tone, as well as easy to accessorize. Reese’s black dress is slightly structured- giving her a super cute shape. But, our favorite part of her look is her hot red pumps. Pair your classic, black luxury swimwear with some red accessories to spice up your look! We love the Truly, Madly, Deeply bikini in black for this look from Lady Lux. Then, whether it’s your shoes, bag, or jewelry- add in red where you feel most comfortable!

 

Now you can take your beach look from drab to Reese-chic! Just try not to get caught in any mugshots along the way… Mugshots are never a good look!

Countdown to Coachella: Part II

If you were lucky enough to attend the first weekend of Coachella- perhaps you can already expect certain things for weekend 2. If you missed the first weekend, but plan on attending the second (and final) weekend- never fear! We have everything you’ll need to know for surviving a whole weekend in the desert.

 

 

One of the most crucial things to start thinking about now (if you haven’t already started) is what you’re going to wear. Coachella is one of the biggest weekend of the year for style blogs around the world. Celebrities are all over the place and they usually have their outfits styled perfectly for the weekend. Occasionally, however, they slip up. When planning your outfits, keep in mind that it’s not only hot, but dirty. While a white dress may look cute when you put it on in the morning, it may not look that way by midnight.

 

By using your luxury swimwear effectively, you can stay fashionable and cool while partying under the desert sun. Bandeau’s are definitely in fashion now, allow you to stay cool, and even keep you prepared just in-case there’s an impromptu pool party you happen to be invited to. Lady Lux has a lot of great bandeau styles such as Floral Fantasy or Paradise. Throw them on with some trendy high-waisted shorts and you’re ready for the day!
