Lea’s Brightest Moments

This weekend, the world was struck by the tragic news of 31 year old Cory Monteith (star of hit TV show Glee), being found deceased in his hotel room in Vancouver. People around the world are now grieving about is passing, but also for his girlfriend of over a year and co-star, Lea Michele. It’s terrible news, but we would like to honor Lea Michele during this time, not only with praise over her ever-growing talent, but also for her poise and beauty. Let’s take a look back at some of Lea’s brightest moments.

Lea is definitely graced with natural beauty. Her shiny brown hair and her beautiful olive skin complexion makes for a dynamite combination. Because of this, the starlet can wear virtually any shade or color she wants. We love how often she’s spotted in hues of pink. The color radiates off of her tan skin and pops against her brown hair. If you’re looking for this hue in your designer swimwear, you could always try Melt Away or Pretty Young Thing. Both have similar pops of pink, while remaining sophisticated and classy, like Lea’s looks.

Another favorite bright of Lea’s? Teal. Whenever Lea is spotted in this color (as we’ve pictured) she exudes luxury. Take, for example, her Harper’s Bazaar spread, which is the epitome of glam and fashion. To carry this luxurious color over to your luxury swimwear, try the Paradise bandeau. The shine in the fabric makes the suit even more glam than it is with the hardware at the center bust and hips. Just like Lea, you’ll be sure to stand out amongst your peers.

Our final spotlighted color of Lea’s is a rich, goldenrod yellow. Specifically, we love the gown she wore to the Tony Awards. So classically feminine and rich. For a similar effect, the Still The One bikini features a rich, golden hue mixed with a vibrant magenta. When combined with the gold chains at the shoulders and hips, the suit transforms from playful into glam.

It’s so unfortunate that something so tragic could happen to someone so young, but we’re sure Lea will rise from this and continue to develop into a Hollywood A-Lister. We can’t wait to see what bright looks the starlet will tackle next.

Get Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s Daytime Looks With Lady Lux

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has sure come a long way from her Survivor days. For those of you who have forgotten, Hasselbeck was cast for Survivor Australia at the fresh young age of 24. From there, she stole the hearts of America as the adorable sweetheart. Since the show, she has evolved in more ways than one- marrying her long-term college boyfriend (football quarterback Tim Hasselbeck), landing a spot on the View, and (most recently) scoring a spot as a new anchor for Fox News. Elisabeth has just announced the switch- which is set to take place in September of this year. During her time on The View, we have loved watching her style evolve into a fresh, stylish, wife and mother. She goes to show that just because you’re married with kids, doesn’t mean you have to dress like it. We love getting inspiration from her daytime talk style and translating them into our designer swimwear looks.

Elisabeth is best known for her ability to pull off a mature (yet not frumpy) feminine style. She’s so often spotted in various shades of pink and pastel- in styles that are flattering for her figure without looking like she’s dressing too young. Being only 5’4″, Elisabeth has to be careful of various cuts and silhouettes. Regarding swimwear, it’s best to wear cuts that are lighter on the fabric- to cut down on bulkiness in order to elongate the figure. Elisabeth has a great figure- so she might as well show that off. The soft purple in the Heaven Can’t Wait bikini are perfect to pull off the feminine look Elisabeth so often sports. Another foolproof option? Pink- such as the Melt Away bikini. Both of these styles are easy on the hardware, making them age appropriate while still remaining flattering to a petite figure.

Fun prints are another easy way to stay on trend while having the flexibility to wear different cuts and styles. Chevron is a huge print for summer, as seen on Elisabeth. By adding in some bright colors, you’ll be sure to stand out. This fun print comes in two different cuts in our luxury swimwear. Call On Me has more turquoise hues to the print and is a fixed triangle, as opposed to the sliding triangle of Crazy For You. If you’re feeling a bit more conservative, the fixed triangle is a great option because not only is there more stability on the band under the bust, but there’s also more coverage throughout the triangle.

Brights of all shades are also huge for summer, especially when it comes to swimwear. Elisabeth gives a great example of one of the popular trends with brights- color blocking. If you’re feeling bold- try mixing and matching some swimwear colors. Use a bright coral like Pretty Young Thing or bright turquoise like Paradise. Layer on contrasting colors with your accessories and jewelry. The trend is easy to pull off while, again, having the flexibility to choose cuts and styles that suit your needs!

Cheryl Cole Stuns in Brights for Summer

Summer is officially in full swing! While it may be true that one of the biggest trends this summer seems to be black and white color blocking, that doesn’t necessarily mean bright colors are out! As long as it’s summer, bright colors will always be in style for the season! Bright colors show of your highlighted hair, golden tan, and all of your fun, sparkly accessories. British pop sensation Cheryl Cole tends to represent all of these things year round, including the bright colors. She’s a woman who isn’t afraid to be bold and stand out- in a good way. Using your luxury swimwear, it’s easy to get her look- just in time for the holiday weekend fast approaching!

Whether it’s a dress, a blouse, or pants- Cheryl loves to be bold. Here she is spotted wearing some fun turquoise pants. Bright skinny jeans are definitely in style for summer. Bright swimwear is always in style- like the turquoise Paradise bandeau. You’ll stand out, just like Cheryl, in this youthful suit. Paired with some sparkly gold accessories, it’s a fool-proof option for the summer months.

Like we mentioned before, color blocking is huge for summer. Who said it had to be limited to black and white color blocking, though? Cheryl pulls off a bold fashion statement using not two, but three bright colors in her color blocking ensemble. Her color of choice is the royal purple, which is similar to the Unforgettable bikini. To get Cheryl’s look, simply get some contrasting turquoise and orange jewelry. The colors all go great together without looking too matched.

Rich, pink hues are pretty much always in style for summer. The most feminine of colors, pink pops against all of the other colors- especially when it comes to designer swimwear. A super-feminine option for swimwear would be Lost In Love, which features a removable pearl/chain necklace. For a more understated look, try Pretty Young Thing. The coral/pink color is super feminine and the gold jewelry adds an extra detail which makes the suit less of a basic and more of a fashion statement.

There has never been a rule that just because you’re wearing brights, doesn’t mean you can’t wear a few different shades! Case in point- stripes. Stripes are always in style and bright, candy-colored stripes give off the impression that you just got back from a yachting trip around the Mediterranean. For the most updated version of this look, take your stripes and turn them into a zig-zag pattern (also known as chevron). Chevron is one of the most popular prints for summer and with these fun, summer hues in Call On Me- you’ll be sure to be right on trend.
