Mila Kunis has consistently been a fan favorite since her days on That 70′s Show, but she is now making headlines more than ever. She is one of the hottest young celebrities right now, and it doesn’t look like things will be slowing down for her anytime soon. Whether on the red carpet in a dazzling gown or seen smooching with boyfriend Ashton Kutcher, she is always looking her best. She has a way of making casual look trendy, and always looks stunning at movie premiers. Mila just celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday so we want to celebrate some of her trendiest fashion moments on and off the red carpet. Love Bound Designer Monokini

Love Bound Monokini by Lady Lux

Mila Kunis has a way of making just about anything look sexy, but a plunging neckline always helps. A huge trend with celebrities this year has been the plunging neckline. We have seen it in gowns, monokinis, and even everyday style. Mila Kunis is known for showing a little skin on the red carpet, and ew have chosen a couple of our favorites. She was seen at the premiere for her her comedy Ted wearing a short black cocktail dress with a sheer plunging neckline. This neckline is a great way to add a little bit of sexy to a classic look. The Love Bound Monokini is a great way to get that sexy look with your luxury swimwear. The deep cut of this monokini adds a little bit of sexy to the already glamorous look.

Crazy For You Designer Swimsuit

Crazy For You Bikini by Lady Lux

The chevron print has been such a huge trend this year that it is no surprise that Mila Kunis chose to add it to add this trend to her wardrobe. Not only is she gorgeous and the red carpet, but she always manages to include the latest trends in her everyday style. We have seen chevron stripe prints in all forms, but we are loving this casual style from Mila. This chevron maxi is perfect on its own, but she completed the look with a cropped denim jacket. The chevron look is very young and fresh, and although Mila just turned 30, she is looking hotter than ever. Trying to find the perfect chevron bikini to add to your luxury swimwear? Look no further, Crazy For You has this trend covered! This Lady Lux bikini has a bright and colorful chevron print that is sure to pop against your golden tan. The leather buckle hardware on the top and bottom complete the look by adding interest. Whether you are laying poolside or headed to the beach, you will have no problem achieving Mila’s effortless style with these looks!

Miami Swim Show Trend Report

The talk of the industry this time of year is centered around one thing- the annual Miami Swim Show. A fashion trade show for everything related to swimwear, beaches, pools, and everything that falls in between those categories. It’s always fun to see what new styles luxury swimwear companies like Lady Lux come out with, but we like to predict ahead of time what we will see at the show starting Saturday, and what will make a presence at the end of the year as well as for 2014…

Youthful, bright prints have definitely started to make their mark for the summer of 2013, but we don’t see an end to this trend. Specifically speaking, striped patterns such as chevron really took off- and we’re pretty sure they’ll be sticking around for the 2014 collections due to their overwhelming popularity. In both the Call On Me as well as Crazy For You bikinis, the chevron prints have been kicked up a notch with trendy, bright colors like purple and aqua. Similarly, Ready Or Naut features a youthful striped print. With nautical inspiration, this suit was a huge hit around national holidays such as Memorial Day and Fourth of July. Is it possible nautical striped suits will be even bigger in 2014? We definitely think so!

Running along the same concept as the colorful striped prints, powerful florals also took off in late spring/early summer of this year. The ever-feminine print took a unique twist when paired with black, like in More Than A Feeling. The print turned out to be one of our best sellers! It’ll be interesting to see what other colored florals will be huge for 2014, as we’re sure this popular style print is here to stay. Other favorites from 2013 include Floral Fantasy and Secret Escape.

Last (but definitely not least), we think sexy cutout monokinis are going to be HUGE again for 2014. This style swimwear took off in 2013 with the introduction of super-sexy cuts like the Sipping Pretty monokini, one of our best selling suits. Customers seemed to like the variation of not only cuts, but colors, such as the Heaven Can’t Wait monokini, also one of our best-sellers. With options like these, the Drive Me Wild monokini, and many more- we’re sure we’ll be seeing more sexy monokinis for 2014 all around, and we can’t wait to see what fun cuts and colors will be available!

What designer swimwear trends were your favorite for 2013? What trends do you look forward to hopefully seeing for 2014? We hope you’re as excited as we are for the new year and new swimwear!

Get Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s Daytime Looks With Lady Lux

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has sure come a long way from her Survivor days. For those of you who have forgotten, Hasselbeck was cast for Survivor Australia at the fresh young age of 24. From there, she stole the hearts of America as the adorable sweetheart. Since the show, she has evolved in more ways than one- marrying her long-term college boyfriend (football quarterback Tim Hasselbeck), landing a spot on the View, and (most recently) scoring a spot as a new anchor for Fox News. Elisabeth has just announced the switch- which is set to take place in September of this year. During her time on The View, we have loved watching her style evolve into a fresh, stylish, wife and mother. She goes to show that just because you’re married with kids, doesn’t mean you have to dress like it. We love getting inspiration from her daytime talk style and translating them into our designer swimwear looks.

Elisabeth is best known for her ability to pull off a mature (yet not frumpy) feminine style. She’s so often spotted in various shades of pink and pastel- in styles that are flattering for her figure without looking like she’s dressing too young. Being only 5’4″, Elisabeth has to be careful of various cuts and silhouettes. Regarding swimwear, it’s best to wear cuts that are lighter on the fabric- to cut down on bulkiness in order to elongate the figure. Elisabeth has a great figure- so she might as well show that off. The soft purple in the Heaven Can’t Wait bikini are perfect to pull off the feminine look Elisabeth so often sports. Another foolproof option? Pink- such as the Melt Away bikini. Both of these styles are easy on the hardware, making them age appropriate while still remaining flattering to a petite figure.

Fun prints are another easy way to stay on trend while having the flexibility to wear different cuts and styles. Chevron is a huge print for summer, as seen on Elisabeth. By adding in some bright colors, you’ll be sure to stand out. This fun print comes in two different cuts in our luxury swimwear. Call On Me has more turquoise hues to the print and is a fixed triangle, as opposed to the sliding triangle of Crazy For You. If you’re feeling a bit more conservative, the fixed triangle is a great option because not only is there more stability on the band under the bust, but there’s also more coverage throughout the triangle.

Brights of all shades are also huge for summer, especially when it comes to swimwear. Elisabeth gives a great example of one of the popular trends with brights- color blocking. If you’re feeling bold- try mixing and matching some swimwear colors. Use a bright coral like Pretty Young Thing or bright turquoise like Paradise. Layer on contrasting colors with your accessories and jewelry. The trend is easy to pull off while, again, having the flexibility to choose cuts and styles that suit your needs!

Cheryl Cole Stuns in Brights for Summer

Summer is officially in full swing! While it may be true that one of the biggest trends this summer seems to be black and white color blocking, that doesn’t necessarily mean bright colors are out! As long as it’s summer, bright colors will always be in style for the season! Bright colors show of your highlighted hair, golden tan, and all of your fun, sparkly accessories. British pop sensation Cheryl Cole tends to represent all of these things year round, including the bright colors. She’s a woman who isn’t afraid to be bold and stand out- in a good way. Using your luxury swimwear, it’s easy to get her look- just in time for the holiday weekend fast approaching!

Whether it’s a dress, a blouse, or pants- Cheryl loves to be bold. Here she is spotted wearing some fun turquoise pants. Bright skinny jeans are definitely in style for summer. Bright swimwear is always in style- like the turquoise Paradise bandeau. You’ll stand out, just like Cheryl, in this youthful suit. Paired with some sparkly gold accessories, it’s a fool-proof option for the summer months.

Like we mentioned before, color blocking is huge for summer. Who said it had to be limited to black and white color blocking, though? Cheryl pulls off a bold fashion statement using not two, but three bright colors in her color blocking ensemble. Her color of choice is the royal purple, which is similar to the Unforgettable bikini. To get Cheryl’s look, simply get some contrasting turquoise and orange jewelry. The colors all go great together without looking too matched.

Rich, pink hues are pretty much always in style for summer. The most feminine of colors, pink pops against all of the other colors- especially when it comes to designer swimwear. A super-feminine option for swimwear would be Lost In Love, which features a removable pearl/chain necklace. For a more understated look, try Pretty Young Thing. The coral/pink color is super feminine and the gold jewelry adds an extra detail which makes the suit less of a basic and more of a fashion statement.

There has never been a rule that just because you’re wearing brights, doesn’t mean you can’t wear a few different shades! Case in point- stripes. Stripes are always in style and bright, candy-colored stripes give off the impression that you just got back from a yachting trip around the Mediterranean. For the most updated version of this look, take your stripes and turn them into a zig-zag pattern (also known as chevron). Chevron is one of the most popular prints for summer and with these fun, summer hues in Call On Me- you’ll be sure to be right on trend.
