New York Fashion Week Colors

New York fashion week is a burst of colors that inspires everything from luxury swimwear to street wear.  The vibrancy on the runways was to drool for.  I especially loved how Marc Jacobs found the winter blues and celebrated them.  It’s a positive sign that you can find beauty even in everything.  Here at Lady Lux, blue is beautiful and indicates a welcoming of summer.  Nautical lines, beaches and sunsets.  Designer swimwear like Paradise takes us into the depths of turquoise.  This bikini features a shirred bandeau with stone gold hardware at center bust.  A sexy cut to make any woman feel feminine at the beach.

Zoe Saldana stepped out looking hot wearing a vivid blue mini blazer with some drool worthy floral pants.  Her style looked elegant yet casual chic.  She paired the rest of her outfit with some cute multicolored platforms.  Blue is such a fun color to wear whether you are mixing it with other colors or wearing it by itself.  It’s a color that emits freshness and newness.  It’s the ocean, it’s the sky and it’s the fresh air by the countryside.  Zoe looks fun and inviting wearing this fun color.  It’s a very approachable palette and looks great mixed with many luxury swimwear accessories.

Jada Pinkett Smith also chose to wear a hue of blue.  Her outfit of the day came in the form of a snake skin trench.  She wore this coat with a wide belt that accentuated her waist.  Her feet were grace by a pair of black heels and she complemented her outfit with a black clutch purse.  She looked great in a simple style.  Designer swimwearcan also be simple and also look great once you complete the whole outfit.  You can mix the blues up with the whites and get your nautical fix all in one go.

Kelly Rowland and Rihanna Shine at the Grammys

Rihanna wowed at the 2013 Grammys by singing “Stay” on stage as part of the Bob Marley tribute.  On the same note, she looked fiery in a red gown with a sexy Alaia gown all the way down to the shoes.  The Bajan beauty came out for the cameras and this vibrant color was meant to be seen.  This see-through chiffon frock was really pushing the strict dress code that was in effect at this grand music event. But that’s why we love this Barbadoes crooner.  She pushes the envelope and you can never know what surprise to expect from her.

Her makeup was on point and her hair lay in a soft sweep to the side.  What a Pretty Young Thing! Rihanna was wearing one of our inspirational colors is designer swimwear.  In this case Rhi Rhi is wearing a color that is both passionate and romantic.  In fact, research has shown that men tend to relate the attractive factor to women wearing rich colors like red and coral.  It’s definitely in out luxury swimwear palette.

Kelly Rowland also looked gorgeous in her body flattering black Pucci gown.  This gown hugs a woman in all the right places.  It’s like a road that fits, and follows, all her curves.  It sweeps and contours and makes Ms. Rowland look elegant.  The black gown can be found in the elegance of luxury swimwear.  This Pretty Young Thing in Black wowed us at the Superbowl and at the Grammy’s.  Talent overload. Her quest to grace the limelight could not have been better timed and the place was absolutely perfect.  Her dress makes her name audible in our ears and her style memorable.

Both ladies showed some risk taking as they wore gowns that pushed on the “no entry” list but, that didn’t stop them from coming out full force.  Come out full force by checking out the latest in designer swimwear.
