Jennifer Lawrence’s Celebrity Red Carpet Fashion

There has been quite a bit of buzz around one of my personal favorites, Jennifer Lawrence, lately and this time it wasn’t because she fell on her way to accept an award. I am pretty sure many people fell in love with this young star after she handled her embarrassing moment like a normal human being rather than an egotistical celeb, I know I did. Jennifer’s new Hunger Games movie is set to hit theaters this week and she has been traveling all over for the many movie premieres and red carpets leading up to the release. We are absolutely loving Jennifer’s new and very sophisticated look and I couldn’t miss a chance to show you just how to get her style with some sexy swimwear from Lady Lux.

From premiere to red carpet to more premieres, Jennifer Lawrence never lets us down and always keeps the fresh and couture looks coming. She has, however, been wearing quite a bit of white and ivory, but no complaints here! Her white strapless dress with hot pink pumps is one of my very favorite looks of hers. She looks sexy, classy and very couture all at the same time, which is not an easy feat by any means. To get a similar look for the beach, grab a sexy ivory swimsuit like the Call Me Maybe Bikini. The neutral color of this suit leaves room to have fun with accessories and adding color is highly recommended.

Another sophisticated and glam color that Jennifer has brought to the red carpet is dark blue. Whether she rocks a flowy navy gown or a deep blue skirt and crop top, she keeps her new, more mature look going. Of course we miss her long locks, but if she keeps up this pattern of to-die-for fashion, then perhaps we can forget about her decision to chop it all off. Of course you can get Jennifer’s glamorous, yet sophisticated look with your luxury designer swimwear with the Rich Girl Navy Bikini. Headed to a pool party that will carry on into the night? Then this sexy bikini is the perfect suit with a little sparkle that will have all eyes on you!

The Glamorous Little Red Sexy Bikini

This should be no surprise, but red is definitely the sexiest color there is. Not only is red feminine and rich, but it definitely is an attention getter whether on a gown sexy bikini or handbag. The celebrities have been in on the secret forever and they know that when they go with red they really can’t go wrong. Just like everyone needs a little black dress in their closet, everyone needs a sexy little bikini, and red is the way to go when it comes to your luxury swimwear.

Celebrity Red Gowns

This should be obvious, but just in case we will let you in on a celeb secret, when you want to get noticed you wear red. This especially applies to the red carpet (get it?) where some of the most talked about fashion moments have included stunning red gowns in every shape and style possible. The best part about red? It doesn’t discriminate and everyone can wear the color and look absolutely stunning! Not quite sure about rocking head to toe red? Just add a red accessory like a clutch, or a personal favorite, red pumps or wedges, which will also make your look pop.

If you don’t already have a little red bikini, then take some advice from Miley Cyrus and grab a stunning little red number and head to the beach! Miley has been absolutely everywhere lately with her Rolling Stone and Fashion magazine covers. The perfect pick to get the sexy red look with your designer swimwear is the Red Hot Bikini from the 2014 Lady Lux collection. This sexy suit features some gorgeous rhinestone hardware to add some sparkle for a super glam look and of course a bold red that is to die for. Jennifer Lawrence Pulls Off Spring’s Hottest Hues

Jennifer Lawrence has gone from an up-and-coming teen star to a full-fledged Hollywood A-Lister seemingly overnight. Her style choices are often fairly safe, but elegantly classic. She chooses classic silhouettes that flatter her curves and shape to perfection. While not all of us may be able to pull off some of the silhouettes she’s so often seen in (i.e. the Dior stunner from the Oscar’s), it definitely is possible to take inspiration from her color choices.

Bright teal is one of our favorite colors for the season. The Paradise bandeau is not only similar to the teal dress Jennifer was spotted in, but the slight shimmer in the fabric adds an extra touch of glamour. Add in the aqua jewelry at the center as well as each hip and the swimsuit screams luxury swimwear. The color is also fairly easy to pull off for a few different skin tones. If you haven’t quite gotten the tan you’ve been hoping for yet, the color isn’t so bright that it washes you out. If you’re lucky enough to sport a beautiful golden tan, the bright color bounces off the tan and really pops.

While black may not be a “bright hue”, it’s a popular color choice for designer swimwear lovers across the board. It also (believe it or not) is a hard color to pull off while still managing to stand out. Jennifer Lawrence shows us a great way to wear the color- with some perfectly placed cutouts. The cutouts keep the color youthful and will ensure that you still stand out at the pool or beach. Sexy monokinis like Love Bound are a great option when trying to achieve that cutout effect. Otherwise, you could go for a sexy basic black bikini such as Truly, Madly, Deeply with extra detail like the gold hardware on the straps.

Jennifer Lawrence is definitely a fan of the basics- white and black. She definitely pulls those shades off with grace and class, but we also love it when she’s spotted in brighter hues. For this photo shoot, she paired a royal purple top with a burnt orange pencil skirt- a risky combination that really stood out. The color of her top is a showstopper, similar to Unforgettable. To achieve Jennifer’s look, pair the purple suit with some orange jewelry and accessories. A good tip- when looking to accessorize with opposite colors than what you’re wearing, shoot for complimentary colors (or colors opposite from one another on the color wheel) and then go one or two shades to the right or left to avoid looking like a school mascot (who often choose complimentary colors).

The Annual Met Gala Red Carpet Report

The annual star-studded Met Gala took place in New York City last night. From movie stars to models, everyone who was anyone seemed to make an appearance. With the theme of last night’s event being “Punk: Chaos to Couture”, we were sure to get an eyeful of some interesting ensembles. While some stars decided to tame down the “punk” theme, others went all out. Either way, we loved looking at some of the recurring trends from last night and thinking about how to carry those over to our designer swimwear.

One of our favorite looks of the night had to have been Miranda Kerr. While it’s true, Kerr looks amazing in just about anything she wears, she really pulled off her Michael Kors dress with ease and sophistication. The cutout trend seems to be huge for this current season. Whether you choose to rock that trend with a monokini like Love Bound or Drive Me Wild, you’ll be sure to nail it. Another trend Kerr is implying? The bandeau! Bandeau’s layered under cutout t-shirts or blouses are a great way to add some extra color or sparkle to your look. Fun bandeau‘s like Paradise and Heartless 2013 are great options to use when layering your look.

Another favorite of ours was Jessica Alba, who wore a gorgeous Tory Burch dress. The dress was leather and featured smaller, feminine cutouts as well as two larger, and more bold cutouts. We loved the overall effect of the pattern, similar to the Sipping Pretty bikini and monokini. Leather is also huge for this season, which is one of the many reasons we love the leather accents on luxury swimwear such as Drive Me Wild, Crazy For You, and Call On Me.

Being a punk theme, the color of choice seemed to be black (for obvious reasons). Black is a great, classic color. Jennifer Lawrence’s dress took classic to the next level. Her Christian Dior dress paid great homage to Old Hollywood starlets, while the color added to the “punk” feel. Black is always a great option, especially when it comes to your designer swimwear. Choices like Pretty Young Thing and Truly, Madly, Deeply are great staples to have in your wardrobe.

Who were some of your favorites from the Gala last night?

Jennifer Lawrence in Black and White Glamour

Black and white will always be timeless. It reminds us of the days when TV didn’t have color and the movie stars taking their magazine shots in a world of black and white.  Designer swimwear complements this world of glam by adding an element of mix and matching.  Having no color is not a negative thing when you can have your checkered stripes to complement the nautical season.  The world of mixing the two colors is a reminisce of the days with Dorothy Dandridge and Audrey Hepburn.  Classy ladies with lots of talents to show to the world.

Talking about black and white being glamorous, Jennifer Lawrence is the new Miss Dior spokes model.  She looks so stunning in the campaign she leaves us breathless.  Her performance since Hunger Games has been nothing short of stellar.  So happy to see her climbing the ranks of young Hollywood Fashion.  Get your black and white mood by choosing luxury swimwear in Truly Madly Deeply (white) and Truly Madly Deeply (black).

When you wear your luxury swimwear in black you have the option to either pick a white accessory to pair the bathing suit or go for a white bottom or top.  White acts as an accent color to your designer swimwear and helps trick people into thinking you have a room at home full of bathing suits.

Having glam means you’re able to carry forth a style like you own it.  Jennifer Lawrence is so statuesque in her stance and grace.  If you want to wear black and white, go for the contrast look or the stripes.  Stripes also have a way of refreshing your whole entire look.  Finish off with a clutch purse and some wedge heels for the summer.  It’s amazing how a color block effect works for neutral colors as well.  A checkered scarf can do wonders to an otherwise plain outfit.  Always be accessorizing that’s the motto.
